What do you do after a flood? Reflect, rebuild, restart.

For B. David Farley the reflection started after torrential Ozark rainfall flooded the river behind his childhood home, heavily damaging the house his parents still live in. Between tearing out old floors and sorting through mud-soaked belongings Farley took time, in his own way, to reflect. With a chair, some instruments and a recorder he sat under the trees and let his heart flow out through his fingers, lifting up praise to God through his musical gift.
This is not worship as you experience it on Sunday, but it's worship just the same; improvised on the spot with humming bugs in the background, the family dog panting, wind in the branches, breath, life. This is worship for those who need to reflect, to call out to God to heal, rebuild, restart.
